I am currently building 12 MicroSaaS startups in 12 months, using no code and AI.
Join the AI revolution!
A project to build and document the process to create revenue generating startups fast.
The Challenge
AI the biggest opportunity since the birth of the internet, but often this feels distant and theoretical. This project demonstrates a process to design, build and validate revenue generating products fast. And it proves that a small team can deliver real value with AI fast.
The Process
- Week 1: Ideation and discovery: Create a long list of ideas, assess and prioritise, conduct research and select one to work for the month.
- Week 2: Feasibility: Create a simple working prototype, create user stories and a backlog of tasks. Assess and deprioritise black holes and blockers.
- Week 3: Build: Develop and test features in no code platform
- Week 4: Launch: Market and launch the product to measure interest, usage and revenue.
- Continuous Discovery: Through the 4 weeks conduct research to refine and validate the business proposition, and assess the value, usability, feasibility and viability of the start-up.
The Outcome
I am currently working on startup three
Aiming for one app that generates over £4000 per month within 6 months. (Didn’t achieve this yet)
Two startups launched in the first two months. The first was killed due to lack of uptake. The second shows promise and we will iterate.
Evolving a structured process for lean, rapid evolution and validation of AI powered apps.
Henry Latham
Founder of Product MBA
Simon is a fantastic product manager and has been invaluable to 12 Startups in 12 months for his insight, product sense and adaptability. His continous discovery work has been hugely valuable. A stand out feature form me is his ability to work effectively at pace in a highly ambiguous environment.
Simon would be a fantastic addition to any startup team.
Key takeaways
Everyone is talking about the AI revolution, but this often feels distant and theoretical. 12 startups in 12 months shows that a small team, using modern techniques and platforms can be a part of this movement right now. And this is important because these are the apps we will be building over the coming years.
