AND Digital is a hyper-growth digital agency with the mission to close the digital skills gap.
The Challenge
As a product principal at AND Digital, part of my role is to shape the product culture at AND Digital. I’ve found several ways to do this.
The Process
- Coaching and mentoring: I have coached dozens of people both on client and within the company.
- Customer Centricity Program: I designed and led a 10 month hands-on program to build skills in continuous discovery, experimentation and customer research.
- Discovery leadership: Helped to shape AND’s approach to client discovery.
- Commercialising Customer Centricity: A working group of product, XD, tech and business development piloting new ways to win engagements with a focus on customer value.
- An active participant in AND’s Product Chapter working to improve our product centric approach across the company.
The Outcome
AND Digital is progressing fast in its approach to product and experience design. I have seen a big shift in the four years I have been at the company.
It has been a privilege to be part of this movement and collaborate with such a talented and committed bunch of people to continuously improve how we approach our craft.

Simon has been a pleasure to work with since he started at AND Digital in 2018. From the start of his time with AND he has been keen to be involved in how we make AND Digital a remarkable place to work.
Simon has been very active in our Product and our Delivery Communities of Practice (CoPs) as well as being a critical member of our senior Product practitioner Chapter Group. Simon is one of the 'go to' people in AND Digital for Product centric knowledge.
Simons expertise across knowledge areas such as Design Sprint, Product Discovery, Product Consulting, and Product Transformation has been evident in the successful client work that Simon has completed for clients across a wider range of sectors.
Simon is always ready to share his insight with other, be that as a mentor, via the cohort based 'Customer Centricity Programme' that he setup for ~15 people in his AND Digital Club, or via talks that he has completed in external meet-ups such as Agile Reading.
Simon has also been one of the driving forces behind our 'AND She Can' programme that is working to close the digital skills gap by directly up-skilling and supporting groups of young women in their journey's towards tech roles.
