The Challenge

Constellation Brands had issues with digital innovation due to unempowered teams, a project mindset and a lack of customer insight. I led a team with the goal to change this via product centric transformation.

The Process

  1. Product health check, to assess product capabilities across the organisation.
  2. Established chapters to provide communities of practice to provide colleague support and empowerment.
  3. Product coaching, to shape product culture and develop product leaders.
  4. Ran team vision & strategy workshops to set team direction and secure team buy in.
  5. Set up and led a discovery lab to bring customer insight and experimentation into the product development process.
  6. Established an OKR framework to inspire, bring direction to and support measurement of product teams.
  7. Change management workshops and conferences to bring the company along on the journey.
  8. End to end mapping of  year long B2B2C sales cycle to bring clarity and allow improvement to a complex process.
  9. Defined the strategy to scale product centricity, to bring direction to the product transformation.

The Outcome

Shaped strategic direction for a large enterprise

The scaling strategy I presented to the CIO and ITLT is now a plank of the company’s digital roadmap.

Constellation has embedded customer centricity across cross-functional teams (Product & sales)
